    AINP - AWE processing time?

Some occupation are not eligible to LMO if unemployment rate is above 6%, but the $1000 is due regardless of that. So yes that's a good thing the moratorium is lifted but it will be really hard anyway to get LMIA now...

AINP.. How long untill one can apply?

Check Here https://www.albertacanada.com/opportunity/immigrating/ainp-eds-skilled-worker-self-assessment.aspx One thing is for sure, if he applies now, he will have to extend his work permit with the new TFW rules because AINP will take a year to get.

My guess is it doesn't make any difference. Unless your profile is really interesting for them compare to others. I might be wrong, but it is what I understood and the example they gave was pretty clear to me...

Will Front Desk Agents be affected by the new changes?

I am not sure but I asked the question yesterday to an immigrant advisor and he wasn't sure either. He told me the 4 year rule change should only affect the new workers, not the one already here. Better call CIC, but even them might not have a clear answer for now.

Will Front Desk Agents be affected by the new changes?

Front desk LMO are very very hard to get because, well, everyone can do the job... Unless you speak like 10 languages and have specific skills. My understanding so far is that foreign workers already here still have the 4 year rule but if you were to extend your WP, it will only be for one year...

AINP Semi-skilled "Be employed for 6 months"

I have same profile, worked 1 year and a half abroad and 2 in Canada in hospitality and I applied in January. So as long as you have the reference letters with the dates then it should be OK. I say should because with immigration, nothing is for sure.

Apparently. As long as it's within been processed within 8 to 12 months. My understanding, and we already saw it here on this post, is that if someone apply now, with a really interesting profile, he/she might get nomination before other people who are waiting since a long time...

Sooooo I just participated to a AINP/temporary foreign worker information session, and they told us they processed 2500 already and they received more than 8000 applications. They also told us that applications are not processed on first come first served basis but if your profile is needed or...

They just want to know if you're still work for the company or not. So you have the right to take holiday, the only thing might be your application being delayed becUse you're temporarily out of reach. But they cannot withdraw your application because you're on holiday ^^
