I would like to add one thing about the coop.....George Brown do get opportinities that are not available on internet....these are basically opportunities with their industry partners.....so it is really good for the students of this course....

@Ythapar...one more thing as u asked how to stay longer....once u get a job and you are nowhere near getting the PR....you can go for closed work permit...closed work permit is comparitively easier to get.....but if you are on closed work permit then you can not switch job and you are tied to...

@Ythapar.....doing the 4 months course(whih is the GAS course only, I think) does not gaurantee 3 years of OWP....its all your luck and what visa officer is thinking while stamping....ideally you shd NOT get 3 years of OWP after this as per the rules....but there are students who got it and...

@Canada Hawk...Well college helps in posting the coop opportunities on their job portal....basically these are the same openings that you could find online too...so they are open to all....not sure if we are given any weightage when we apply through college job portal...

just to clarify things...it should be 4 semesters of study to get a 3 year PGWP....

It is going to be 3 years....I know students who went there for a 1 year PG diploma and then joined another college after the completion of 1 year for the last semester of any other course.....yes, some colleges allow that...the only reason reason students do that so that they have 4 semester of...

The fees is going to be same for me too....They have sent me the new offer letter and I have to pay the rest now...In January, it was around 1000 lesser than what it is now...

@sunilkatal....Yes I have the visa....I was planning to join in January but got my visa a little late than I expected...so deferred my admission for september.... Have you applied for your visa ???

The course is good....thats what everybody says...but getting a job is tough not because of the course but because of the market...this is all I can say at the moment...
