some VO notifies the applicants but in our case, we received SA and was able to track our application through e-cas using the UCI number few weeks after SA. at the moment, The CIC website was updated in March 17, 2015. Assessment of Sponsor is Working on applications received on January 19...

should be just a TRV and not an OWP.. you should clearly state your desire as a visitor,,, maybe a good cover letter attached on your application will help
