Hey Buddy Mrs. Cam,

Embassy nagreply sa follow-up ko about my application yesterday (follow-up done last week) the usual reply na naka queue or nakapila daw for review ng VO.. Tapos they mentioned na ang medical is valid till July 31. so parang lumalabas ang count ng validity ng medical is kung kelan nila nareceive results hindi kung kelan nagpamedical sa clinic. so medyo may 4 full months pa pala..I'm assuming na if totoo ang usual trend na considering no further complications sa dox eh magagawan nila tapusin to issue visa before the expiry of medical..so sana nga sa luob ng 4 na buwan eh matapos angbuo process...sana lang..wish ko lang. :)

I'm hoping for completion and issuance before my wife's medical expires too. Her meds were done in early July and CEM has issued the expiry for her meds as July 10 according to the GCMS notes.... Fingers crossed.

Chris

Yours too will be expired this coming July 16..what is gcms Chris???

GCMS is the case notes of the file from CIC. Usually accessed through the Canadian Freedom of Information ACt. by the sponsor who is in Canada along with a $5.00 fee and takes about 30days to receive them through email. I know there is a way for the applicant to get the same notes using the Privacy Act. But I don't know enough about that.

The notes as confusing as they are, can be quite interesting at the same time.
Our notes contained 30pgs.
Chris.

But we already got ppr...I'm not sure if gcms now is still possible..and I'm glad the embassy replied to some members on the forum..which I thought they will just say it's in normal processing time.

The notes can be ordered any time I believe, only thing is the applicant needs to sign an authorization form allowing the sponsor to have access to it. I downloaded the form myself sent it to my wife she printed it signed it scanned did not date it. and sent it back to me in my email so I can use it by dating it myself in order to get the notes more then once if we so choose to do so. Yes CEM will respond some times, They responded to me when I had a question...they answered it for the most part however they also said the application was being processed at their office and no other documentation is needed at this time.

Chris

I see ..thank you so much !we are working on our application too to some possible ideas for our papers to be done before our medical will get expired on July 16

Goodluck to everyone and hope the process will speed up again...!

Hello po!!
Ask ko po ulit, according to what is written in the instruction guide that photos must be loose,,should i write the description at the back of each photo or should i paste it in a bond paper and write the description..
Im still confused..please help me.

the pics i submitted/included in the application package (as evidence) were digitally printed in a photo paper. i pasted 4 photos each sa short bond paper with headings/captions kung ano yung mga photos na yun (i.e. wedding photos, photos at the wedding reception, skype photos, out of town trips etc. etc). nasa 70+ yung total number of photos na na-submit ko. so far, ok naman. wala na silang hininging additional proofs. waiting na lang sa DM. :)

di po advisable na idikit sa paper ang mga pix. Sulatan mo na lang ng description at the back of the photo.
Or if i may suggest, you copy and paste pix in MS Word , 2 or 3 pix in one page and put the description at the bottom of each pix..then print out mo na lang..nde pa bulky kesa sa hard copy mismo ng pics :)

hmmm. mine were pasted sa bond paper. about 4 photos sa isang bond paper without descriptions sa likod ng mga photos but with captions sa bawat paper na may photos kung ano yung mga litratong yun (i.e wedding ceremony, reception, out of town trip photos etc. etc.). so far wala naman problema. when CEM sent me a passport request, they didn't ask for additional proofs sa relationship so i believe what i did was fine with them. As long as your application is pretty straightforward without rooms for them to doubt your authenticity, genuineness, truthfulness and what not with regard to your relationship with your spouse, someone whose on the same boat will be just fine. :)

This was based on what I've read lang here sa forum and as per the guide too when i was putting together our application, that photos should be loose.
But then, to each his own naman :)
Marami pa rin naman who did as you have suggested above and it's been fine. They wont reject naman an application based on photos alone. It all comes down to the completeness and genuineness of the application
Cheers :)

There were a few Oct and Nov 2014 applicants who got their PPR request. Good for them.. Whatever happened to July 2014 applications? I can't complain.. LOL.... ;)

hello all,

just wanted to get any advice. im working on my immigrant application right now and probably will land in 2016. im planning on landing first before my bf and i get married. is spousal sponsorship the best and quickest route for me to get him to canada? what program is open for permanent residents, not canadian citizens? i hear that it will still take 3 years to become a citizen. thank you all :-)
