    2014 FSW Mexico City applicants

That is perfectly normal, Guate. Disregard the MX processing times from the global 2014 FSW spreadsheet as the averages are skewed by May applicants. Current PER to MR time for Mexico City VO is around 110-130 days, and your case is right on schedule. I bet you'll be getting MR before March is...

    2014 FSW Mexico City applicants

Perhaps it is just a coincidence, but going over the Mexico City VO cases over at the FSWP 2014 Spreadsheet http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Spreadsheet and our own little spreadsheet here, it seems like our visa office likes to send all MR around the 20-28 of each month. Hopefully we will have many...

There are polarized opinions on that subject. The document that VO sends requesting PCC clearly states that all documents not in English or French must be translated. However, there are people in the Mexico thread over at the Family Sponsorship forum that only sent the original Spanish document...

Here's hoping you have a speeding process! I'm quite impressed with the PGR: they promise to have the certificate in 10 business days, but in our case, we got a call on day 3 saying that it was ready. Wish it was that easy all the time :)

Your doctor should be able to re-print the file they sent to the Embassy. Our doctor in Monterrey makes a habit of emailing patients the pdf files for our records, so if he can, the system allows it. We got our pdf copy 5 days after the exam because the doctor was waiting for the blood test...

    PGR Mexican Police records check

The PGR states in their website http://www.pgr.gob.mx/servicios/constancia/antecedentes%20registrales.asp that the comprobante de domicilio has to be from a NATION-WIDE entity. I don't know is Cablecom is national or regional

    PGR Mexican Police records check

Bank payments have to be made in advance. You need to fill out an e5cinco Hoja de ayuda (http://www.pgr.gob.mx/servicios/e5cinco/Pago_5Millar/pago_5millar.asp?Inicio=0) print it and take it to the bank. For comprobante de domicilio they need to be in the applicant's name or a direct relation...

    PGR Mexican Police records check

At least in my state you have to go to a Sede, the agencias are only for open crimes. Here are the requisites: http://www.pgr.gob.mx/servicios/constancia/antecedentes%20registrales.asp Everything is original and copy. The payment is done at the bank. For the photos you need two fronts and two...

The record check (PGR Constancia de datos registrales) includes the fingerprint. Done from within Mexico, someone will take the applicant's prints when applying for the constancia. When the applicant is out of the country, the fingerprint card is requested (see...

    2014 FSW Mexico City applicants

Don't worry, my MR took more than 90 days. As for AOR, I saw the second line on ECAS a whole week before getting the AOR email (that stated the AOR date as a week before), and 20 minutes after AOR I got MR and RPRF. They 60 days average number is greatly influenced by the first couple of cases...

Re: PGR Letter We are currently in Mexico, so we are going directly to the PGR to get the police certificate. That meant getting a special letter from the embassy, paying $135 pesos to the PGR (via a bank) and waiting 10 days for the actual certificate. It is my understanding that when you...

Re: PGR Letter Thanks so much for easing my mind about not getting the PGR letter in 24 hours like the email promises. The email I got had a PDF file attached. The PDF said that the official letter would be emailed separately. Is that the letter you printed and took to Aguascalientes? Will...

    credit card or DD ?

We used CC, but for four long months I was constantly worried about CC fraud and the bank putting a lock on the account. Had to keep the CC in the safe and call the bank every once in a while just to be sure everything was ok. If I were doing it again, I would go with DD.
