    2014 FSW Mexico City applicants

I have never sent follow up documents, but the people over at the main 2014 FSW thread have that experience. What did your request letter said? If it asked for originals, they must be sent by courier, but if not, it is my understanding that electronic transfer is possible... But better to ask...

Tepic is the capital of Nayarit, so the sede office should be able to process the police certificate. :)

Excellent tip! I do need an IDP for a 6 months stay, and to secure some kind of proof of 2+ years driving experience for the drivers license. My current license is no use because it doesn't have dates. Will begin that paperwork ASAP.

I set two bank statements from the very beginning that showed the full quantity and were dated 6 months apart. VO didn't ask me for additional Proof of funds.

Thanks for the tips OhCanadiana! Quick question: if we'll only be staying 6 months for the landing, do we have to stamp a B4/B4A? My concern is that our actual move to Canada might be a couple of years from now, so things in the list will be outdated by then... Appreciate your input on this-

    Medical Test for PR

You can use the same medical test, just be aware that medicals expire after 365 days (a year). You need to land in Canada before your medicals expire if you already have the PR Visa. If the visa is still not issued when medicals expire, VO will ask you to retake medicals. Good luck!

Hi Tishness! How old is your husband? If he's over 40, there's no need for the Cartilla. When we did the PGR, they told us that the cartilla was only needed for males between 18 and 39. At 40, they are relieved from military service, so the document is waived. About the PGR offices, there are...

WES ECA - two degrees from different universities

You need to send both. I was in the same case and one certificate got to WES before the other. The status on WES page was "pending" until they got the second certificate.

If it is for getting the Embassy letter for the PGR, I would email them instead of sending the prepaid airway bill. I did both in February and ended up getting a digital letter in 10 working days (they responded to the email). I never got an answer to my physical letter, so the prepaid DHL thing...

time taken by Visa Office to reply

You should wait. VO responses usually say to please keep communications to a minimum and be patient. I wouldn't risk being flagged as a nuisance (even though you are in a hurry)

Thanks for the update. Just a minor correction. My RPRF date was 1/28. Reception of PCC and PRF payment by MxVO was 2/24. Last week I got a lovely email I would like to share with you. After getting a tracking status from the courier that delivered PCC and PRF payment to the VO, I emailed MxVO...
