Contact CHC London and explain the situation like you did here and ask for clarification. The Immigration officer can still deny you entry even if you have a visitors visa(or in your case a visa exempt passport).

The official wait time in the website is 79 days. Hang in there. You'll find something. Usually the rejection comes fairly quickly. If you haven't heard anything yet and the file is in process then it's looking good

Did you go thru the checklist? do they even ask for your original passport? For an online TRV application online, CIC asks for the passport at a later date if needed.

I don't understand why you are concerned that they asked for medical. The website says that "usually" medical is not required. It doesn't say that medical is never required. If anything you should be happy that they asked for it because odds are they are going forward with your application and...
