I hope so. Today is exactly 102 days. As per the Canadian Embassy the application is under "active processing" and in queue to be viewed by immigration officer. I thought it doesn't take this long for just a simple visit visa for a newborn. I am not sure what they are checking for? Newborn wouldn't have any security checks I hope.

Where do you see this status?

Hello all,

Anyone who has applied for TRV for spouse at Islamabad...has any of you got a medical request? My wife got a medical request 20 days after online application submission

I emailed islamabad chc that we already did medical in May and there response was as follows

Dear Client,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is currently in process and applicant's previous medical results have been updated. Applicant is not required to undergo medical examination again.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

So my question to folks with experience, has anyone been asked for medical on TRV. If so, did you end up getting a trv?

Thanks

There is no requirement as per the rules but they are asking 80% of the applicants as far as i have seen for the medical. and i am confused why is that the case...

I think they req medical in multiple entry
but I m not sure

I don't understand why you are concerned that they asked for medical. The website says that "usually" medical is not required. It doesn't say that medical is never required.
If anything you should be happy that they asked for it because odds are they are going forward with your application and planning on approving it.
