oh !! so its one year or more ??? if its more than the average time which is 12 months ( cairo ) call the immigration here , what is the cause of delay ?? wish you all the best , i know its hard. hope we hear good news soon :)

my ecas says they started processing my husband PR application on 3/10 & medicals are received however they received the application in april :( today is 24/10 is it going to take longer time ??? i wish to spend Christmas with him

yeah i called CIC directly i asked her the same question i asked you but she didn't give me direct answer all what she said is that my application is ok & there is nothing wrong with it ,THAT'S IT. it is too hard our first year of marriage is all gone :S each one of us in a different continent...

today there was an update in my ecas from " PR application received" to " in process" stating that they received the application on april 2011 , started processing it on 3 october 2011 , medicals are received .. how much time left ? i started the whole process on march 2011

congratulations , my application was sent to cairo visa office in april so i guess they should call me as well :)

has anyone managed to reach a representative at the embassy by phone? because i tried but i guess they removed the option of speaking to any of their representatives

thanks for your reply however everyone is warning me of staying a long time outside canada while the application is in process. if your wife has a PR & medical insurance take care that if she stayed more than 183 days it can be cancelled or something like that , it is written on medical...
