    Somebody knows CEC GAP REACHED?

I would highly recommend that you guys wait until an official announcement is made by CIC. In the mean time, (in the back of your minds) you need to not give up and start sketching a plan B. (i.e. working on your EE profile). CEC reaching the 8k cap is not the end of the world. #ThinkPositive...

DUI - Convicted - need help post grad work permit

I am not a lawyer but based on your post, your work permit is not revoked yet as you still have a court hearing and you have not yet been convicted. I would highly recommend that you hire a good lawyer for the DUI and based on the court result, consult an immigration lawyer as to how it would...

    Extension Open work permit

Yes your spouse can apply for an open work permit for you only if he finds a job in a NOC 0, A or B. Otherwise if by October/November of 2015 your CEC application is not finalized, you can either apply for a bridge work permit on the basis of your CEC application that is in process or apply for...

Can I extend my Study Permit?

Ask the school if you meet the admission requirements to issue you a conditional letter of acceptance. Condition being: "that upon completion of your undergraduate degree requirements, you are accepted into the Masters program". If this is not possible, you can remain in Canada on a post...

    Palestinian Police Certificate

NRT stands for No Reportable Trace (NRT)-a report given to CIC when the Service has no adverse information on the immigration applicant. I have no answer to the rest of your questions. Sorry.

    PGWP vs Convocation

What are the basis they issued your PGWP on? You have most probably provided some sort of proof (i.e. transcript showing degree conferred?). Your work experience counts from the day you started working in NOC 0122 while on a PGWP. Don't confuse yourself and focus on getting all the other...

Your draft should be fine the way it is. Missing "The" is not a big issue. Cheers!

    CEC cap has been reached?

Well if they are still charging credit cards as of today for sept applicants seems to me that they will proceed with application received prior to that date. So you should be okay. I mean it does not make any sense to charge cards of sept 10th applicants on Dec 2nd and return those applications...

    CEC cap has been reached?

Well, my advice to those of you who have not yet applied is to apply now. Even if the cap is reached, you are not losing anything since you have already prepared applications, pictures, took the English test...etc so the worst that could happen is that they return your application but they...

    US FBI PCC Tracker

I got mine on the 37th day after they received my application. So it took them about 30 days to process my request and 7 days for the certificate to reach me.

    PGWP

You do not need an LMO to extend your PGWP. Been there, done that!! I had my initial PGWP valid until the expiration of my passport and after renewing my passport, applied again for PGWP and got the remainder of my three years. Good luck!

How to get FBI record within Canada

Google fingerprinting services in BC. There should be many agencies that can assist with your ink-and-roll fingerprinting. They also have the FBI fingerprinting forms. I used a similar agency in AB and it worked fine. It will cost anywhere between $30 and $50. Good luck.

Experienced members, kindly suggest a province that better suits my requirements

I am not an "experienced member" but can share my experience having graduated from a two year program in Alberta. If you are comparing AB, SK & MB, I would highly recommend AB (either Calgary or Edmonton) for many reasons, mainly work opportunities and the very strong economy. Immigration...

Urgently, having a recent study permit but got pregnant

This is misleading information. If you give birth to your child in Canada, your child will become a Canadian citizen by birth (regardless of your status) and assuming you will be a full time international student, you are eligible for Alberta health care which will cover your delivery/hospital...

    PGWP refusal

You only have 15 days from the day you are notified of the decision to file for a leave and judicial review. Your case doesn't qualify for an appeal. Here is a link to the CIC operational manual: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/enf/enf09-eng.pdf Cheers

    PGWP refusal

I would recommend that you request your GCMS notes. Here is a link: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en Now bear in mind that your GCMS request will take about 30 days to be processed. The notes will give you a better picture as to why they have refused your application...
