I got the TD canada trust bank draft which has mentioned payee name as 'RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA' and not 'THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA'

Will missing this THE create any problem? Should I send as it is or go to bank and get new/corrected one?

Your draft should be fine the way it is. Missing "The" is not a big issue.

Cheers!

Thanks All.

I was checking the source where I got the payee name without THE and I found it

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp#pay

Obtaining an original receipt form–Inside Canada

Payment of fees using the Fee Payment Form

In Canadian funds only, you may pay

by certified cheque, bank draft or money order made payable to the “Receiver General for Canada”, or
with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
Note: Certified cheques, bank drafts and money orders may have expiry dates. When you submit your application to the CIO, the expiry date must be at least (5) five months into the future.
