BC definitely the warmest? Have you ever been there? ;D Irish/British climate! I spent in Vancouver/Whistler one week this year, moderate sun, + 20+25C while we had +35C here in AB. Though, probably the greenest and one of the most beautiful areas of Canada! Very expensive place to live though...

If being a CEC applicant "suggests" a higher probability to adjust better to a new life in Canada, why our friends in CIC grant the ITAs under FSW category to so many applicants who qualify under CEC too? Just curious...

You should get your PR before December. If I'd be you, I wouldn't apply for it now, but rather leave the application for BOWP for the first half of November. Should you decide to apply for BOWP anyway, the CIC will refund you BOWP fees if your PR is issued before the issue of BOWP.

To my best knowledge, if you work with consultant/immigration lawyer, you have only access to ECAS and no access to MyCIC. The reason is that legal representatives work through their portal with your application, to whom legally only they have access, eg that even their assistants can't gain...

My friend had DM with 3 lines in ECAS only, though the day she got DM CIC added 2 extra lines to her ECAS, so she had 5 at the end.

A lot of applicants did, but got ITA under FSW. AOR on 4 August. This is my second application. The first one with ITA in January was rejected. I am waiting for 8 months already and will be waiting for another 2-3 months. So, it's a waiting game, nrj123! Get some patience! ;D ;D ;D

yes nrj123, I think we all need a lot of patience here! It's amazing how fast CEC applications are processed compared to FSW ones. And its annoying when so many people like me qualified for both CEC and FSW, but got invitations under FSW. But, as they say there is a reason behind everything, so...

I was in Coutts on at least 2 occasions, they were always very good there, very fast too.
