Apparently my friends who live in Missisauga applied last year and got their test invite after 11 months. Sorry, not trying to be a downer here but Toronto GTA seems to be the slowest. So best is to be patient and keep up the hope of getting the invite at the soonest.

I agree! I need to travel and book my tickets etc etc and vacate my apartment however I am just stuck becoz of the test. Toronto (GTA) is the biggest in terms of # of applicants and the slowest of all cities in the country.

Hi Everyone, I called up CIC yesterday and they confirmed that all rounds of verification have been done for my application and that my file is good. Does anyone know how long does the test invite take after the file has been verified? Thanks!

100% agree with you! It's unbelievable that a country like Canada can be soooo slow. They just take their own sweet time.
