    Immigration Medical Exam not needed

You cannot take a medical exam voluntarily. If you need an exam, CIC will give you the required forms. So, in any case, wait for them and do whatever they say. P.s. In your case, they shouldn't send you for an exam, since it's not required (as you mentioned).

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

Watch this video, if you haven't seen: http://www.cbc.ca/player/News/TV%20Shows/The%20National/Politics/ID/2460817745/ It says it all about Conservatives. For the Bill C-36, I guess they just didn't care and/or found an excuse.

    TRV renewal in the philippines!!!Help!!!

You are taking chances. Theoretically, it's ok. But the embassy can also reject you, with no explanation, - this is unlikely, but still possible.

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

Sorry, but who told you that Canadians support this bill? Conservatives? Or their staffers on this forum? Don't trust the liars. There are almost 30k signatures on the petition against the bill, and many of them are Canadians born here. Yes, it may look like a small percentage of the overall...

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

So, you think, that a bunch of corrupted liars and cheaters in the Parliament should solely make important decisions, and everyone should be ok with that? I hope, most sane people would disagree with you. Also, it's not actually your business, who posts in which part of the forum. I also would...

No one should be excluded. Simply, tens of thousands of current PRs make this case stronger.

Huh, how's the racial diversity related to the immigrant votes? + how else would u explain a number of new 9to5er faces in this thread?

Looks like all Conservatives' staff rushed into this thread :P Scared of next elections? Well, u should be.

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

If Conservatives stay at power after the elections, it will be much longer than 2 years. This corrupted government cannot add 2 and 2, not speaking about the Immigration. All they know how to do is shutting the mouths of the invited experts.

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

I definitely think, a new government can remove at least the most controversial clauses without an issue (particularly, I'm talking about 'intent to reside', out of court revocation and elimination of pre-pr time count). As for the election outcome, I think it will be either a CPC minority or a...

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

Guys, u're asking same questions over and over. Let me summarize what we know: 1. All amendments to the bill have been rejected, so the only unknown is when it will come to force. This can happen anytime between now and the end of year (don't see any reason to speculate about that, but...

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

I absolutely second this. Sorry to repeat myself from the other thread, but I think to reach the voters, it's important to focus not only on the Bill C-24, but on Conservatives as a whole. So, I think a complete message should be something like that: Cons have been in the office for ~10 years...

    Need Help/Advice please

There is nothing special about your case. Canadian Immigration is a mess, 'average' time here doesn't really mean anything. (Sorry to say that). If your employer's lawyer asks them, instead of you, that may help.

Sign petition: Citizenship Act Bill C-24 discrimination

Definitely, Bill C-24 is just a small piece, why Cons should be kicked out of the office. I think, our message should be formed about something like that -> Cons have been in the office for ~10 years. During this time: 1. Veteran Affairs - total failure 2. Immigration - total failure (Bill C-24...

Applying in advance of bill C-24

If you are ready to go through the court, I think it's wiser to challenge the bill C-24 as a group, once it becomes law. Personally, I don't think one has much chance applying ahead of time. Though, in the end of the day, nobody knows.

Bill C-24 Second Reading on February 27th:

Huh... :o Are you sure, you're commenting on the right topic? Where do you see 'racist remarks' here???????????? This topic has come to a point that for the sake of Canada, Conservatives must loose the office in 2015. And everyone should try their best to make it happen. Nothing else.

CIC's Twitter now looks more like it's a Conservatives' PR agency, what a shame: https://twitter.com/CitImmCanada/status/472103045552435200
