I think my lawyer was telling about this visa the other day. I've told him to go ahead and apply for it for me. I hope to have PR soon, but because I want out of where I am working asap and with the strikes my PR could take a while.

I got told by my lawyer that with the strikes its having an effect on my visa application and looks to be delayed by a month already!!!

I was told today by a friend going through PR that your on line status is only updated once a week, on a Wednesday. Does anyone now if this is true as I check it every day.

Just emailed my lawyer and they sent back a reply with an attached email they sent to the visa off and it does that the same email address you gave e.g. OttPilot-Immigration I'll get an email written and sent off today.

Mine has been saying the same. I've been looking at other peoples time line and it looks like its about 6 weeks from Med Received to In Process or PPR.

I had my job offer letter with how much I was bring paid etc. My lawyer was in contact with the company I work for and ask for the paperwork and all I did was given it by HR and passed to the lawyer. My advice would be, have your friend speak to a lawyer or to the BCPNP and ask,

I'm a Tester and going through BCPNP right now. My wage is low but not as low as that. I've used a lawyer to help me with my paperwork and I didn't have any problems. It seems if a company wants them then there is a good chance your friend will get PNP.

Has any emailed the office in NS about visa status, if so what email address did you use as I can't find one.

Thanks for posting this as it gives me a better idea as my office is NS. Funny how my app was received a few days before yours and I go my medical request mid June and they have my Medical received July 2nd. Looks to be about 6 weeks for PPR.

Still waiting for the next step after the meds. Hope it comes soon as I need it asap

I did wonder if the worse case happens would the visa office contact the company to see if I still have a job before requesting my passport?

I'm sort of in the same boat. Things have changed at work and not sure I'll have a job in a few weeks. I've done my med's and now waiting for passport request. Should I lose my job would that mean my PR application is cancelled?

I have a bit of a problem - I'm on my PNP visa in Canada but the company I'm working for might not be in business much longer so will be out of a job. Does anyone what would happen to my PR application should this happen? Will I be given time to find a new job on PNP again and would I have to...
