    I was reading the Mexico visa office information on the CIC site and I noticed this... Im pretty sure it didnt say that last time I checked, did anyone notice this before? I'm just curious if this is a new thing and it means the times will jump up to crazy months like the Guatemala VO.... off...

    I received the request to pay it along with the request for police certificates, so maybe this means they're not requesting anything else? With CIC you just don't know, but it very could be that this is it for you, so yay!

    3-4 days, I usually get stuff from ON to BC within 5 days, doesn't take too long... Btw is there a charge for the SSP cert?

    Hi lancevi, I wouldn't get the medical exam, if that's the only thing stopping them from approving the application CIC can extend it this just came into place recently. My wife got hers in February and we're not getting another one, we're hoping the process will be done by then, the embassy...

    Still waiting for the PGR, once it's ready my wife is heading to Mex city to get the one from the SSP and then drop it off at the embassy, so hopefully next week.

    Will you be sending a prepaid waybill? I strongly suggest doing that as it takes about 10-15 days to receive the letter from the embassy. You can use the case specific link to let them know, if they resend it through regular mail you'll probably run into the same thing again and probably not...

    lol same here, the only thing that worries me is my wife's trip to Mex city but besides that... nothing to do for immigration, weird... lol

    That's our plan too, she's gonna wait for the PGR one and then head to el DF get the SSP and hopefully get it the same day so she can drop it off at the embassy... and here we though we could avoid that trip lol ... oh well another step closer... we'll see how long it takes the embassy to reply...

    On another note, my wife just got the PGR request letter through the waybill we sent, it took 15 calendar days from when the embassy received our waybill and this one does say it's for permanent residence

    I think you're right too, a trip to Mex city it is. My wife spoke to the guy at the GDL office and he said he's frequently issuing them for people using them for CIC he never hears back so obviously we don't know if they get rejected and I don't want to find out lol...
