Yes the visa will be stamped/attached to your passport. You may have to ask in the spousal thread to see how long after the request you must send your passport. As with everything, if you have prior arrangements I'm sure you can ask for an extension.

You have 7 days to link your application otherwise you will have to call them. You need access to get further notifications from them so I'd do it ASAP.

Looking at Novembers spreadsheet (https://tinyurl.com/zydfgjt) it looks like the time between AOR2 and decision made is 1-2 months. The request for passport looks almost immediate then you get it back within a couple of weeks.

Congratulations! So your application is now at your nearest visa office, they make a decision then ask for your passport so it can be stamped!

This is exactly my situation. I don't have SA but have medical, schedule A and police check requests. I see them as 2 processes. In certain circumstances it may be difficult to determine if a sponsor is eligible, or may take longer to perform their due diligence. AOR2 is when the visa office...

You have enough correspondence to have a CIC account to check or to call them directly.

I got the request in my CIC account messages (GCKey is the credential you use to access CIC) You should receive an email when you have a message in your CIC account, given that you have set your email in the linked account.

I like the new colour scheme, it helps us see how applications are progressing. The problem is maintaining the row colours. We have 51 people of varying technical ability editing the spreadsheet at any one time, of course it will be broken.

Hi Yoge, I asked last week if we could make the spreadsheet read-only and have a few admins with write access. This way we can monitor the sub and add details when people request. This is how a number of these subs run their spreadsheet. I spent hours last week fixing up the broken references...

Still no request for police certificate or schedule A but just received a message requesting medical (lung x-ray and lab tests ). Booked in for next week, the cost = £300!

I was simply asking if the request was an automated response to linking your application. The guidelines specify; I'm not being proactive I'm simply following the procedure.
