    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

I believe it's conditional PR from 2012 onwards unless and until you already have kids (in this waiting period). Anyways that's probably best answered by people who have their received their PR.

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

I scanned and sent it. My wife was granted a TRV based on the documents sent by me (besides she had to submit a few more) , all scanned copies.

Hey Rhomank - I second Fiza. Besides the suggestion that I gave you via PM you can use CBC's GoPublic channel (Kathleen Thompson is the reporter) and see if it helps your cause. This is really absurd and abuse of power by NDVO. Try emailing them or send the application along with proper...

Same with mine. She gave me a timeline from 1 to 4 weeks and it's now 5th week with no news or reply at all. Useless buggars.

Way to go indeed! Let's hope this message wakes up CIC, the minister and finally the pm too.

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Hey Prabhu.... that form which my wife is mentioning is on VFS site and not on CIC's site. Sorry for the error. Hope this clears the confusion.

Oh.. I agree that's quite a long time. They should have stated their decision by this time. Too slow. Just hang in there. That's all we can do when we are at their mercy. Good Luck!

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

My wife applied from Bangalore. It was processed in a week's time. She submitted passport upfront and has collected it along with the visa. Depends where/which visa office you have applied. Just check the processing times present on their site for that office in the TRV category.

CIC's site feedback may not really help us in any way. Unless the minister intervenes directly and asks questions to the officers there, NDVO will be NDVO with no improvements at all.

Done. I signed it too. Let's hope this f$%^i$g minister opens his eyes and does something rather than just warming up his chair.

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

You should have scanned all the required documents and emailed your wife so that she could have submitted it in person. That's what I did - scanned and submitted all relevant documents along with a letter requesting them to give the application their "kindest consideration". I did not opt for...

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

I went today again to the MP's office(in person) and as usual her assistant seems to have another excuse. Her answer was "There is no new update. They haven't given any new updates yet" and that prompted me to ask "so what is the old update you have for me"? She said that she is in the middle of...

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

Of course buddy, I pray and wish that we all get our PR visas ASAP. That's something that my wife still needs to get;for now it's only TRV that she has received. To your questions - my wife (deep son) has answered in detail to the process. Please read them at your convenience and trust that...

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

I think so Fiza. You too have been waiting for over a year and all it requires is a proper statement of documents etc., and a letter where in you and your husband explicitly mention that "you both would honor and respect the tourist visa and not do anything that would jeopardize your PR...

    NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

This is a million dollar question for which even I have no answer. From what other members shared here, I believe we can send our PP to an office in Ottawa for visa endorsement and then move out of Canada and then come back into the country. This is what I think it is.
