It's basically standard procedure when a new file is received to ask for PPR very early. Everybody in this forum has experienced this. E-CAS SHOULD be showing "In Process - Passport received" for all of us!!! But CIC never updates and nobody can really tell what is happening with our files...

My friend applied for his parent's super visa and it got issued in 10 days. Can you believe it? I think they are giving priority to visitors and students, these assholes are clearly working. But they just want to mess with sponsorship applicants and skilled work applicants probably.

I think you are right my friend. This is probably their internal strategy, hurt the economy by stopping in-flow of immigrants who bring cash with them and invest, purchase, spend, etc. YET still keep working on new applications by processing PPR's... very smart indeed!

Why are they just not couriering the stamped passports? Why are they calling people? I know there's strike occurring but it's very simple to call a batch pickup for courier, it's 1 simple call.
