Of course the cut off won't drop to 400. Based on last year end report, the number of candidates between 400 and 449 was 14000. I doubt this number increases dramatically as this year has almost finish.

Based on year end report of 2015, students are definitely not the majority of candidates in the pool. We could suppose around 8000-10,000 ITA would be taken from LMIA holders, and obviously there would not be 8,000 students over 450s. So the new marking system has to benefit some FSW under...
