I basically check every morning. It's become like a routine. Sponsor app still says "in process". I've called, I've tried their case specific form but basically nobody can tell me anything. In fact they just say, "wait at least another month". Ugh. So hard to be positive when you're...

Email but nothing. I didn't get AoR via email either. I just happened to check online to see they had it. I've checked spam etc (and I'm receiving other emails from them - like when you fill out the case specific contact form).

It's been 110 days and still no SA here :(

It really shouldn't be the way though. I just want him to be able to be here with me.

To add to the weirdness, I just got an email from CIC telling me to submit my inquiry via the case specific form. Which I did originally (it's the exact same link). I totally don't get it. I've just filled out the exact same info again (bang head here!).

Thank you so much. That at least makes me a feel a little better. I don't know why they can't just be transparent and detail it simply like that.

So does that reset the clock in terms of the typical SA wait time?

Yeah I've done that already too but nothing (both calling and the form).

It says: Sponsorship application status: in process Permanent residence application status: application received At the risk of making a movie/book reference others won't remember - I feel like I'm dealing with Vogons when it comes to CIC.

It still says in process. They had requested a missing form in Dec which we sent and was confirmed received Jan 7 but still nothing. No updates. Just nothing.

Is anyone other than me still waiting for SA?

We did the same. We submitted to the FBI around the 15th of Sept. We just got the paperwork we need for CIC back late last week.

They have an online system where they submit it and it gets matched up. You will also get a copy of the results. Or at least that's what happened for us (this was US person coming to Canada). We have a UCI # now and it says that they have his medical results :)
