take an envelope and put ur passport, return address slip/paper, two recent passport photos, and a brief cover letter saying what you are including, then go to TCS and have them mail it out, they will prob use their own envelope/folder on top of it... this way you wont lose nothing...

The UIC (updated information chart) is in step 1 email attachment, its the last page... and the return address slip is in the step 2 email attachment, again the last page... very simple and straight forward process... don't read too much into it...

i was in Pakistan so didn't exactly notice which of the two happened first (ppr or decision made update)... within 50-60 days after re-medical ppl have been getting ppr 1&2 by lvo... what is your case's time so far after the file was moved to ISL...

educational isnt crucial... wait for them to ask... only send info by urself if ur address changes, name changes, or if you have made a visit.... otherwise wait... if you are up in the 24+ month range, and havent heard nothing in the past 5-6 months, then go ahead and bug them in a positive way...

when they do passport request, it doesnt automatically mean that ur case is 100% done... it could mean that your case is 80% done (especially them being convinced on the part of it being genuine and no longer need anything further from you) and once they wrap things up on your case, they will...

email them (lvo) by completing the updated information chart and color scan the passport pages with your photo and signature... that is page 2 & 3... that's all for step one... step two will be sending the actual passport + return address slip + two recent passport photos via tcs... that's...

wasalam, sorry i am not aware/informed of this type of cases...

no liquids or sharp items in your hand carry... but you can bring shaving blades etc in your packed luggage... i always brings gillette mach 3 blades they are very expensive here... coats/jkts in Pakistan have a diff style compared to canada... i wont invest too much there... just bring 1...

take items such as gillette shaving blades (very expensive here)... bring bed sheets, curtains etc... or dresses for your mrs'... safe ideas... :)

make ur files jpeg and resize them a bit, then throw them in a word file instead of a pdf... use a email service that allows 10mb file or more...

you can simply post mail or email, for email, instead of pdf create a word document and put photo's there and put an explanation besides//under each photo... (this way file size will be small enough)...

send the additional documents from your own behalf or your wife's behalf, it don't matter.... include a cover letter within stating what you sending, update on your situation etc... include both ur and ur spouse's information (uci and application numbers + bdays + phone emails etc)...

if you are travelling with pia, you are only allowed 2 luggage bags 23kg ea, 1 hand carry 7kgs, and if you want to bring laptop bag seperately either go business class seat, or pay extra.... or put ur laptop in your hand carry... simple...

anyone here who recently moved to canada or had their spouse moved to canada, what are the luggage allowances for the new comer? also, there is a complimentary IOM orientation session mentioned in the PPR email... is that any good?
