Same thing happened to me when I was in India last year. I went to VFS in India and applied for TRV and i got visa in two days. You just have to send your copy of work permit and pay stubs if you have them and your job offer letter in Canada if you have them.

I guess we just have to wait until we get our job approval letter!

if your home country is India you can apply from india after you arrival. It will take only couple days to process!
