Hello, I am the Principal Applicant (Husband) for Permanent Residence for Canada. My wife and son are Canadian. We have already applied for my PR and are doing the waiting game. However, I would like to visit Canada for about a week in January for vacation to help my wife with a move she is...

Your request has been processed and has had a sub-orbital ion cannon blast the post from existence.

    SEPTEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS >>>>>>>

They received our packet on the 27th of Sept, got the AOR on the 22nd of Oct, so a bit under a month. It could mean they are slowing down or there was an influx of apps that have resulted in a higher workload.

    SEPTEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS >>>>>>>

This worries me a little? I mean, ours was sent to the correct person, but why are some of the AOR1's being sent to the sponsored person? Was the form filled out wrong? Are they in such a rush they are making mistakes? If it's a mistake on the officers part, I hope those errors don't filter down...

    SEPTEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS >>>>>>>

It is? WOOOO! I just thought it would say acknowledgement of receipt on it or something, but it doesn't. But if that IS the AOR, yay! Happy Dance. :D

    SEPTEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS >>>>>>>

Application was received Sept 27th, Oct 22 my wife (the sponsor) received an email with the UCI and Application #. No AOR eMail or physical letter yet, and trying to see where we are in ECAS just results in an error stating "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

For whatever it's worth to others, I found DHL unusable for this. When entering in the address in their system I wasn't allowed to enter in the address. If I cut parts of the address off, the cost was quite high. UPS no issue, and I could enter in as many letters as I want. I guess for documents...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Can't argue that, tracking tends to be better. Also have had good luck with DHL sending stuff to Taiwan.

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Assuming DHL as well? I had been thinking of sending via USPS "Registered Mail" for the security. Your suggesting private. Why would you choose private vs usps registered mail?

    US outland applicants' thread :)

I kinda figured it wouldn't be a big deal, but I guess I'm just used to government pickiness on stuff and learned to be careful. Probably makes me more paranoid than I need to be. Sponsorship: Spousal - Outland Case Processing Centre ─ Mississauga P.O. Box 3000, Station A Mississauga, Ontario...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

This might seem a silly question, but here goes. Myself, the hubby is a US Citizen. I'm the "paperwork" guy that does most of the document based... anything. My wife and son are Canadian citizens (he's one years old! He was born in Taiwan with me right there beside my wife. :D ) and he has a...

    FBI PCC

According to the CIC website I noticed this because I went back to the website because my mothers fingerprints where rejected by the FBI even though we had a professional do the fingerprints, meaning we would have another long wait. Can anybody say they have used this? I know specifically they...
