Hi It all depends on your skill code, if you are skill A & B then your partner can obtain her open work permit at POE but skill C are unable to obtain a open work permit until PR is given. Hope this helps.

You will need to obtain a duplicate birth certificate ASAP to submit it after your pack. I think they are happy so long as you give a full explanation letter in your pack and maybe add proof that you have requested a duplicate certificate.

I’ve just received my application back for the same reason. I totally forgot to add my education certificates I enclosed the ECA report but they will send it back. Hopefully you can get your certificates to them before they check your application.

The error was a wrong date by one day but it was still an error. we sent our application mid April so it was around 4 weeks before they sent it back. We have been waiting a good 6 weeks but it’s not shown up. Unfortunately they only use Canada post to return packs! So here we go again.
