31 july DD applicant, NOC 2132, no news yet... shall I start to worry?

which NOC? i m 31st july DD , 2132

my job title was assistant manager(all people on that career level in our organization have this title regardless of their JD). My JDs match with NOC 2132 mechanical engineers. I suppose this should not be a problem.

About DD encashment, the bank is right because amount is deducted from the bank as per the exchange rate of the day DD was made, otherwise exchange rate can create problems later on. provide proof that your parents gave you that money, show the relevant bank transactions. also show the evidence of family business of your parents. That would be enough proof.

by "in english" you mean translation or the officially english one? if you have provided a translation only you should have also submitted the original one which is in native language/any other language

you need not worry as you have met the requirement of sending a DD with six months validity. The problem is at their end and they must be aware of that. In worst case you dont get your DD encashed by the expiry, they wont reject your application for that reason.

My case is similar as mine will also be expiring in aug 2015. What I have decided to do is that when I receive PER (May God almighty bless me with that soon) and the UCI number, I will then get my passport renewed and send the NEW pp copy to CIC for record update. August 2015 has still 9 months...

thats a tricky question. You should have waited for new passport before submitting the app. Now when you have already submitted, you should atleast email them and ask them whether you should send the new passport copy or not and by which means. if they wanted to check ur new pp they can even ask...

How can you see the status of your application on CIC website? is this your second or third attempt? if you have a UCI which you used while sending this application, you can use that as reference and send the updates in your work profile even before getting PER... and iffff they happen to call...

Q.1: You are doing it right. Its mandatory to provide your previous history. Q.2: no, that form is not required. Its better to avoid sending extra documents.
