Thats very bad news... Most of us are in similar situation as of yours. I am one among them. Generally, it shouldn't take more than 1 month. For me I applied twice and both the times I got report in exact 1 month. So probably you should get your GCMS report today. If not then may be tomorrow you...

Its not just visa officers working on our files. There might be lot of background work which is done by non-visa officers (I guess they may even be local recruitees). So I guess that information you can get from GCMS notes... even background check, security check etc might be done by some third...
