i stayed with my husband in canada for 6 months, and within that 6 months we got married, should i have done a police check for canada also. i already included one in my application but that was for the uk which is my home cuntry.

my ecas just says "We received ********* application for permanent residence on August 23 2011" i dont know when it reached London because my sponsorship application reached Mississauga cic office on 23rd August 2011. and we got the approval letter on the 8th November 2011.
