I just read a post from someone who sent his passport on Nov 24th. It was received on Nov 27th and the return code was activated yesterday. Fingers crossed to have mine back this week. By the way. The PR card processing time was changed to 19 calendar days on immigration website

Medical Exams done in June and uploaded in 4th July. Application status : in process - medical received.

It sounds they were also busy issuing visitor visas (89.000 last month).
