MY ECAS status changed to complete today !!!! I will probably get it by tomorrow. :D :D :D :D :D

I applied from Brazil. It took 3 business days to be ready (around 50 dollars) . The stamp in my passport looks like a regular visa, is valid for 6 months and multiple entries. It says Permanent Resident on it. I presented my LOPR and copy of my air ticket.

I don't see any problem if you have a multiple entry visa. The visa they issued for immigration is a single entry one.

A week after landing (Nov 13th) I travelled out Canada. This week I applied for travel document and it took only 3 days to be ready.

Ecas Udated today - Now in process

It looks it is taking more than 3 weeks. I landed on Nov 13th and there is no changes on my Ecas status.

In my case it took 4 months. At least 2 months because the officer responsible for my case left according to case notes.

Processing times changed to 21 days! Where is my card?

Same happened to me. Medical done on July and waited until November for PPR. GCMS notes showed all items passed on August but the agent responsible for my case departed too. Landed on November 13th and now waiting for PR card

I landed on Nov, 13th. No news about PR card application.

I would't apply for a BOWP. CIC has been very fast to send passport back. By the time you get your BOWP you will probably be landed.

I don't think is a violation to post your PR card. I am not sure if they will process your landing if you mention your are leaving in 2 weeks. It would be helpful if you have a friend who can write a letter of accommodation mentioning that you are staying in his place until you settle (someone...

Since they restart requesting passports, CIC is being very efficient. My passport took 10 days to come back (and many others are taking the same time). Good luck

I recommend to list all travel btw countries. Example: going back home on vocation, coming back to Canada to study/work, crossing the border to USA for Visa, ... Just be honest.
