@ berket i meant 30 days for stage 1 and however long for stage 2 depending on the visa office of the country where you file you app. Sorry for the confusion.

It is faster to sponsor from overseas but once she's staying with you in Canada you have to file inland application which will take longer. I think outland process is faster because they want family/ married couples are being able to unite asap. The timeline for outland right now is 30 days...

I also had the same worry, but when they issue your visa, it will say b1/b2. Especially when you go for the interview, they'll ask questions and find out the purposes of your trip and issue your visa accordingly :)

Congrats on the OWP!! However, OWP is not a visa. You can use OWP to apply for the re-entry visa though if you want to leave the country. That's what I am going to do next :)
