So i called CIC and it turned out they sent my PR card to a completely wrong address. I used to live in Ottawa so they sent it there and now it got lost. I updated the new address with the agent and she said to call back on december 2 and they will know what to tell me to do. Sigh. more...

Hi all, So i landed on August 23, 2013 and i have still not received the PR card :(. I called CIC this morning and I was passed to 2 agents and both of them said there's a technical problem and they couldn't access my file. I'm worried..has anyone had similar problem before? Any advice would...

ah, such a long time since i went on the forum. Hope everyone is doing well :). I am still waiting for my PR card patiently..i landed at the end of August so I'm really hoping i will receive the card sometimes in early November! Cheers,

Hi CANUSA31, For AIP, both sponsor and principal applicant will receive 2 different emails. The email to the sponsor will say that he/she is eligible as a sponsor, and the one sent to principal applicant will say that he/she meets the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident...

I also got 2 years extension for my visitor visa til 2005 though I've already got DM last week. That happens because they extend it based on your OWP (Open Work Permit). It doesn't indicate that your application will take a long time. So don't worry. Hope good news will come to you soon. Cheers,
