The undertaking is how many months you are financially responsible for him for. So I'm guessing they are saying you have 36 months from the time he comes to Canada.

That's what I check is ecas. It did update saying they were processing. I wish I could see the background check too. Anyone here from November or on have their background check actually in process yet?

Yep serious lol. Letter in the email was dated May 18th and we got the email that day too. It makes me scared since that seems painfully slow. But at least it's some communication I guess

Did they request for you to pay the RPRF or did you just pay it? I still am not able to link app to mycic. It makes me crazy but at least I have ecas to see something at least.

When I was in DR someone we know had an interview the May 8th and they requested his passport right then in Santo Domingo. They started in August and had to do the Quebec stuff too. She is much older than he is and that's why they did the interview.
