    Singapore COC / PCC

I had to send my wife and my prints 2 time, since they rejected the first set because I did not have stamps from the channeler. The 2nd time (which was accepted) I sent both ours in 1 UPS envelop. I put the the fingerprints in separate envelopes and then put those 2 into 1 UPS envelop.

I remember checking online (no idea if for appeal or actual COC application), I can't remember what stages they sent emails for. I know once they issue the COC you can call them (takes 30-40 attempts) and get the Singpost tracking number.

Put the start in the appeal as the day you entered Sg. End date of when you left Sg. My wife was on a Social visitor pass for over 3 months and they issued it with the start & end date we put in the appeal, including the social visit pass date.

The best I can remember they put a stamp on the front, struck out and reused one of the fields that is not filled up since we are not sending to FBI. I believe they also stamped the back, so front & back.

The drop is because it is a hard inquiry. It is the same drop you would encounter for eg. if you applied for a mortgage in the US to buy a US house.

You give them permission and they pull it just like US lenders.

Just a FYI folks. You can use your US income and US credit to get a mortgage in Canada. Though, I did get mine in PEI which has a lot of non-residents buying so maybe that skews stuff.

For E-APR, I can't remember what I did, but don't see why scanning a real one won't work.

I would follow the instructions as stated. If there is any uncertainty I would include a letter of explanation.

I did not actually fill out the bsf186 form. I passed the customs officer my list and he prepared the form. I had cars on top of the list and pointed it out to him. I don't see a problem writing with pen. The customs officer padded my figure just to be safe in the actual form.

Ah ok. Look for the stream specific threads or the AOR month threads on the forum to get a idea of current trends. All the best.

Not trying to be facetious here, but your background check will depend on your background :). For eg. military or government service can cause delays. BTW based on your signature it looks like you are already a PR, so why the question?

There is no special treatment for US applicants if that is what you are asking. Timings depends on stream and visa office backlogs. You can look at peoples signatures to get idea about timings. But just like stock market past timelines are not indicative of future timelines ;)

Google voice is a option for calling US phones. It integrates well on Android phones. This assumes you get a decent data plan or limit using this when on wifi.

I called them and updated it. I googled for the number don't recall it now. You need a canadian number to make the call. I went and got a prepaid sim (for some 50 bucks) with enough minutes to make the call. I assumed I would be on hold for a few hours but my actual hold ended up being 25 mins...

Congrats. You can call to update your address to your relatives. You need a Canadian number to call though. SIN can be applied for anywhere as far as I know. We did not have a address at that point and put in our short stay airbnb address. The lady at the SIN counter said the address does not...

Yes, you can enter Canada with personal vehicle using your COPR. I am assuming your US visa allows you to enter US freely.
