    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Just a little update in case it can help. Like I told you before, I passed DALF C1 back in March and after sending my application with the attestation, it got sent back because they wanted the original diploma. The latter takes forever to be sent; I still have not received it til' now. I...

Yes this is not news. For qualified workers with 6, 12 or 16 points in AOT, it is still about reaching the quota by March 31, 2013.

Quebec Skilled Workers program has stopped?????

It has not stopped, but depending on the group you are in (1, 2 or 3), application can be limited.

DELF/DALF results take quite some time to be sent...minimum 6 months. Did mine in March, and I am still waiting. Dont forget that you can not use the preliminary results. They only accept diploma. Try to do TEF/Q or TCF/Q to have your results sooner.

With the new form of update on the page www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/applications-receipt.html I wonder if they will still update us on the number of application received. The update on the page is not really new information from what they told us months ago. I wonder if...

Yes, people are just panicking because of the "not accepting", but they haven't even read the paragraphs. From their post, nothing has changed from the previous modification. Only allowing skill workers with AOT with 6, 12, 16 points... And the Fed limit doesnt apply to QSW. Check the Q&A...

For DELF/DALF, they do not accept attestations. For DELF/DALF, they only accept original diploma. Be very careful as the diploma takes quite some time to arrive. However, if you take TCF, TEF, TCFQ, TEFAQ...those original attestations will be accepted, and I think you receive them 20 days after...

Please do not get confused, this is not official. This is just speculative as there were even another unofficial site that showed totally different points scale. If any changes regarding point system becomes official we will likely see it on canadavisa's quebec worker section, and more...

I havent heard of it, but it is possible. The rate of submission has slowed down as they refuse applications with missing docs and everyone is also taking the time to have language test, etc... So it would make sense that they process applications faster.

I won't believe these things til it's official. These sites can say whatever they want. I found another one with different point scale: http://www.wtisi.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=60&Itemid=53

    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

My take on this is that you clearly do not have a spouse -even by their definition of a spouse-. Even for someone that is married, the spouse category is only taken into consideration when he or she is physically accompanying the principal appliquant. They can't ask for 63 points when clearly...

    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

Even if the principal applicant is married, he or she does not have to be accompanied by the spouse, so I think that it will not be treated under accompanying spouse category. It is only if the spouse comes with you that you need 63 points. Read page 53 of GPI regarding principal applicant that...

    1. I believe the cutoff score should be 55 pts (no spouse accompanying you). 2. Do not sent them "original attestation of DELF/DALF", they will reject it and send your application back to you. They only accept the "original diplom for DELF/DALF".

I thought A1 was 1 point and A2 gave 2 points according to the latest GPI? So 3 points total for both. Please confirm.

It is not 'necessary' per say if the spouse is not the main applicant. You just wont have any point for it, but you can still apply.
