I dont think so. You can gain points for a family member in Quebec however.

Also, they will consider only the listening and speaking skills, to gain full points for english you should score 8 in listening and 7 in speaking

I have checked my application, and I do not specify any thing in that column for French Language skills. So not sure on what grounds it was returned

It clearly says about the point for the test will be based on the test result. But, my doubt is when I do not claim point for French skills why should I submit the test result

I believe this depends when the degree is completed. If its more than 5 years unless you are not working in the related occupation you cannot claim points, may be some one can give better suggestion..

Thank you all for the response. Yes I do not have any french abilities. But, when I assessed my application through the official site, it said i am eligible for it. Hence I dont think french is a reason for the return. Also, I have attached all my employment docs and also my tax return docs...
