Thanks guys, he'll be coming here February 2015 anyway with a valid PR (not expired), but it just less then 2years of RO (3months short by then). Well Finishing up his education won't be a good excuse if he had to justify his absence? the question here doesn't make any better if he come to stay...

One more thing, I guess it won't matter if you're short in your 2years residency obligation with 2 or 10 months, there's a possibility he can be reported?

Hi Faridzad, The process overall use to be 19 months (now is 21 months, you can check CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/cit-processing.asp) as long as your application still in that timeline they won't be able to give you any update, i'll advice you the checkout...

look this past couple months learned that other applicant cases are just for information to me not reference, and just like i said every case is unique if you go through the forum you will find lot of inconsistency in the process bizzard -no that the CIC. be patient. good luck
