    SIN & new work permit

Hi all, When my previous work permit expired my SIN expired along with it. I have got a new work permit (not an extension, its a new one entirely), do I need to go to Service Canada and get a new SIN or is my old one reactivated? I sent IRCC a message asking them but no response yet and I need...

    Atlantic Immigration Pilot Programme (AIPP)

There's a few reasons; Those specific vacancies they are advertising they might be able to fill locally and don't want to have to deal with thousands of applications coming through from international applications. They might have become designated to to fill one specific role. Or they might only...

Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program-Sharing Timeline here please

We think literally yesterday afternoon after he got off the phone to IRCC. He said that the agent he spoke to said his application was still processing, but wouldn't give a finer breakdown of its status. He got the PPR email a few hours later. Perhaps the phone call prompted them to click...

Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program-Sharing Timeline here please

I got it wrong. He had already paid RPFR fees. He showed me his letter today, I had misconstrued what he told me, it actually says if he hadn't already paid them then to do so online now and wait 5 working days before visiting the Halifax office and take the receipt with him. That gives me a lot...

According to this page: You can look up processing times on this page. Select 'temporary resident (visiting, studying, working)' -> 'work permit extension' new or old employer doesn't matter as they are the same. Right now it says 84 days, processing applications received on December 15 2018.

My colleague has had his application for PR approved today. His timeline is the same as mine (see signature). He called IRCC this morning for an update and they said that it was still in processing. He then received the PPR email a few hours later! They have told him to pay his RPRF at Halifax...

Am I alone here in not sending in a Canadian PC with my PR application? I understood this to mean you only need to submit PC's for all countries you've lived in apart from Canada. Have I misread this?

Yes, you can make an inland application, but you might have to apply for another endorsement, if your endorsement isn't in date before you receive an AOR, they will not process your application. You must to apply for PR within 90 days after applying for the WP.

I guess your document request was quite a while ago, pretty soon after your AOR too! I'm gonna guess that if they wanted additional docs off me they would have asked by now. Thanks for the advice. :D

Oh wow, did they request that from you? I'm worried now I've skipped a beat, because I didn't submit any kind of in-Canada RCMP certificate or check with my application, I've always been under the impression they only needed police checks from outside of Canada. But I've had my AOR and my...

Some inland PPRs are looking to be taking between 4 and 7 weeks right now. Our timelines are very similar. I got my AOR on Jan 28th and pre-arrival on March 13th, I've not had any update since (inland). May I ask, what you said when you called IRCC? Because I would love to find out where my...

Last night I received work permit. I logged in and had another ghost update, and a few minutes later it said approved. I didn't receive an email at any point during the WP process. Has anyone else here not received them regarding your work permit application or approval? I'm hoping there is...
