Our application was delivered in December and some of our forms were dated August and some October. They haven't said anything to us about it so I don't think it's a big deal. Just that they are signed and dated.

It says under sponsorship application decision made and then it says application for permanent residence application received

I was finally able to link to ecas today and it says application and medical recieved and decision made. Is that good? Would it say approved if it was approved already?

I used the old forms because we had everything all signed. And I didn't validate ours either because we had them signed before I knew what exactly we were supposed to do. I assume that's why mine is taking longer because they have to input all the info

That's weird they would ask you for it then. Maybe it's an error

The principal applicant fills out that form and it is required on the checklist, well at least the old one I believe

Oh that's some good news! I haven't heard anything yet and mine was recieved on Dec 29th as well. This gives me a little hope :) that we are in line

Hey Badi, We are both in the same boat. You can't use an application number or ID number until they give you one unfortunately. I have been trying the receipt number and the sponsors info and still nothing.

I tired using our receipt number since we haven't recieved an email with any other kind of number. But it hasn't worked yet.

I think they will let you know if they require you to do it again. I have seen some people they wave it so you don't have to do it again. So it's hard to say. I would imagine they probably will make you do it again since it is early in the process stage. But that is just a guess

Did they send you an email and tell you, or you just got the application back in the mail?

We used paper clips for everything as well. Although in the Dominican Republic they stamp and staple the legalized document right over where the stamp is. So we chose not to remove them and send the way it was stapled on our marriage certificate and police certificate. I hope they don't get mad...
