Signature date matters?

I have a friend who is applying to sponsor his wife - he has filled out most forms back in October and was just waiting for a few documents to come thru, to send it all in one package.

Now (Jan 2017) he has everything and is about to send it all - but the forms he filled and signed are dated October 2016.

Is this ok? Or do the forms need to have recent signatures?

Ok, if a particular form he's using hasnt changed. Is it ok to send a document with a 3 month old signature?

No dates aren't a terrible thing. They just want to know when it was executed. However, he should probably double check the revision dates on the forms.

Our application was delivered in December and some of our forms were dated August and some October. They haven't said anything to us about it so I don't think it's a big deal. Just that they are signed and dated.
