MAY 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

I called CIC yesterday and the agent told me that my application has notes on it already and based on this, he's pretty sure that it has been looked at. But then again, there's still no decision regarding my SA.

Ang tagal na.... Try calling them kaya? Or ask for notes. That's quite worrisome. :(

MAY 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

I'm the sponsor and my husband and I did everything on our own, without the services of an attorney or representative. I think whether you need to consult a professional or not depends on the complexity of your case. Ours is straightforward so it's not really difficult to answer the form or...

    IMM 5406 Parents' marital status

Edit on your previous query: I put in the original date of my PR landing. Not the date of my return to Canada after the vacation. I think it's best if your husband knows the complete address of his ex wife.

    IMM 5406 Parents' marital status

Is that for a vacation? I was also in the same position. I left for four months on a vacation. But since I live permanently in Canada, I just typed in n/a in response to the query "when do you plan to return to canada?" Others might have a better answer.

What I did was, I put in the date in which I signed my application. But I have read that others wrote "present" after they have printed the form.

    IMM 5406 Parents' marital status

IMHO, Married is the correct term. Because technically, a remarried person is, well, married. If you want, you can attach an explanation regarding your dad's current marital status.

It's great that you're able to access your side of ECAS. I'm jealous and starting to feel nervous. :)

MAY 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Not to worry. My end (sponsor) shows my citizenship application and not the spousal sponsorship. Anyway, it's DM already in my citizenship application--will let you know if my online status reflect the spousal sponsorship which I am so gung ho about. But I am getting crazy checking my ecas...

I doubt it na sa Saudi yung tinutukoy niya. Kasi it's very clear naman sa link right? hehe. I hope we really need not to follow up with anything. Good luck to us, badpusacat :)

My husband used to work in Saudi.

I know it's a little inconsiderate to ask you guys not to worry but there's nothing to else to do but patiently wait. Some people got AOR 1 after two months, some in just two-three weeks. I know it's unnerving but there's no rhyme and reason for the variety, I suppose. :)
