Question: My mum had deceased and my dad had remarried. Should I state my dad marital status as remarried or married?
IMHO, Married is the correct term. Because technically, a remarried person is, well, married.babymistycat said:Question: My mum had deceased and my dad had remarried. Should I state my dad marital status as remarried or married?
What I did was, I put in the date in which I signed my application. But I have read that others wrote "present" after they have printed the form.babymistycat said:Thank you very much for all your help. I also think married should be the correct term. I did include my dad and step mom marriage certificate and my mom death certificate.
Another Question: IMM 5490 , Question 27, Have you and your sponsor lived together? (We are living together and applying outland)
So I tick YES. Give dates of period of cohabitation.
So as we are living together and will continue be. The TO date... should i state "Present" or the date i mail out my application?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is that for a vacation? I was also in the same position. I left for four months on a vacation. But since I live permanently in Canada, I just typed in n/a in response to the query "when do you plan to return to canada?"babymistycat said:Thank you for your prompt reply. That helps me heaps.
Another thing I came across on IMM 5540 (Sponsor). Question 11. Are you currently living in Canada?
YES > since when > date **
** Even though my husband been in Canada since Dec 2013 but he flew out for a month in Sept 2014 and we all came back in Nov 2014. Should I indicate the current Nov 2014 date?
Edit on your previous query: I put in the original date of my PR landing. Not the date of my return to Canada after the vacation.babymistycat said:Sort of a vacation plus to bring me and my daughter back to Canada.
Another question i came up. IMM 5540 (Sponsor)
Qtn 17. Have you ever been married or in a common-law conjugal partner relationship before?
My husband had previous marriages, however he do not have the address of his former spouse address. What should we write on the Address? The only thing he knows was the town/city she lived.
