Ainp does not provide status updates for applications.Unfortunately,we will have to wait till we get that verification call :(

It is really unfortunate that they do not take that into consideration.There are many applicants waiting for AINP from 2013 and then there are one's who have got both AINP and EE. AINP is so inefficient and unfair >:(

Is it normal for AINP officers to call the applicants to let em know that their file will not be processed that year? That is soo bizarre.Did they tell you why wouldn't they process your application initially? I guess maybe your wp expiry date played a role in it? ;D

The chances of getting an LMIA are extremely low for that position.I hope your brothers get the LMIA but he should have back up plans in case the LMIA gets denied :-X

He should not be leaving right away unless he has no intention of staying in Canada anymore.He could have bought some time by applying for work permit extensions,etc.
