I agree! that is not normal. Considering the person who implied it to be "normal" for CIC taking months to get through July applications, applied April 1st 2014; I really don't believe they have any idea how frustrating and lengthy this process really is.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

reached CPC-M registry February 5,2014. So it's just been sitting collecting dust for close to 3 months now.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

We received our GCMS notes today and they have done nothing on our file. Everything says "not started." CIC received our application July 29th, 2013. Makes me wonder when exactly they plan to start working because they haven't convinced me that they are doing anything. I can only hope Thursday...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

only woodyc has received AIP from CPC-M and that was back in Mid February when CPC-V was sending AIP'S non-stop. Woodyc appears to have been a lucky one as no one else has heard from CPC-M or received any AIP's since February 17th. At this point everything is at a standstill at CPC-M and no one...

I am a July applicant and my husband made a call to CIC yesterday. He got the usual call back in two weeks we are working on your application currently line. He also got the impression from the guy, that all of his responses were scripted. All we can do now is sit put and wait for CPC-M to start...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

This is crazy! How long could it possibly take to transfer files that should have already been organized by date, from one office to another. Clearly they are disorganized and weren't ready to take on the transfer. A transfer of apps shouldn't take over two months to complete and certainly...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I can feel everyone's frustration. :-[ it's actually hard to believe that their whole purpose of transferring files was to apparently create faster processing times, but as it's looking, processing times are slower than ever (for "working" officers that is). I also find it hard to believe that...

HUGE congrats to all those receiving DM!!! I can only imagine the feeling :) Vegreville office is BOOMIN! unbelievably quick with the DM'S! ....I only wish I could say the same for Mississauga! ::) I truly hope for a move tomorrow, but with no one on the forum hearing anything in regards...

no news everyday is really taking a toll on my husband and I :'( I really hope and pray they start working making us see their progress on these applications, because right now I can't be sure they are working at all... even with the most recent updates. COME ON CIC!!!!!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Unfortunately, no one on the forum has heard anything in regards to AIP for almost 7 weeks now. There has been barely any movement from Mississauga office where all of our applications were transferred. 2 people on this forum were fortunate enough to hear and they are July 2013 applicants...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Really hoping for people to hear today, or I hope people are actually hearing and receiving AIP, but are just not on this forum. A BIG update would be nice, seeing that they have only moved 13 days in the past 7 weeks! ??? What exactly were they doing before when they were jumping ahead 1...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

No worries! I did't have a clue either until coming onto this forum. AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt; meaning they have received your application and have checked over it to make sure you have signed all of the appropriate spots and have submitted all of the appropriate forms.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

No, they appear to be moving slow sending out AOR emails. I'm sure they have received it....welcome to the waiting game ???

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Congrats! Looks like CIC is back to work. You seem like another lucky one though, seeing that your application was filed August 2nd and there are still many July applicants who haven't heard anything. I really hope we hear soon! ::)

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Yes, I agree. No one has seemed to hear anything from CPC-M and it's pretty ridiculous for them to say the move has not caused any delays, yet no one has heard anything for months and they just updated Thursday moving ahead 13 days. Hopefully we start hearing people receiving AIP emails

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Congrats to all those hearing good news!!! Unfortunately, it still seems as if all the good news is coming from Vegreville and those cases that were "left behind" . Hopefully Thursday is a good day for all of us still waiting!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I guess we gotta all sit tight. Not quite sure what they've been doing for the past 5 weeks, but i'm certain it wouldn't take 5 weeks to transfer files, considering they would have been all organized according to date from Vegreville. Boggles my mind they would completely stop processing...
