I agree! that is not normal. Considering the person who implied it to be "normal" for CIC taking months to get through July applications, applied April 1st 2014; I really don't believe they have any idea how frustrating and lengthy this process really is.

reached CPC-M registry February 5,2014. So it's just been sitting collecting dust for close to 3 months now.

We received our GCMS notes today and they have done nothing on our file. Everything says "not started." CIC received our application July 29th, 2013. Makes me wonder when exactly they plan to start working because they haven't convinced me that they are doing anything. I can only hope Thursday...

I am a July applicant and my husband made a call to CIC yesterday. He got the usual call back in two weeks we are working on your application currently line. no news everyday is really taking a toll on my husband and I :'( I really hope and pray they start working making us see their progress on these applications, because right now I can't be sure they are working at all... even with the most recent updates. COME ON CIC!!!!!

Unfortunately, no one on the forum has heard anything in regards to AIP for almost 7 weeks now. There has been barely any movement from Mississauga office where all of our applications were transferred. 2 people on this forum were fortunate enough to hear and they are July 2013 applicants...

No worries! I did't have a clue either until coming onto this forum. AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt; meaning they have received your application and have checked over it to make sure you have signed all of the appropriate spots and have submitted all of the appropriate forms.

No, they appear to be moving slow sending out AOR emails. I'm sure they have received it....welcome to the waiting game ???

Congrats! Looks like CIC is back to work. You seem like another lucky one though, seeing that your application was filed August 2nd and there are still many July applicants who haven't heard anything. I really hope we hear soon! ::)

Yes, I agree. No one has seemed to hear anything from CPC-M and it's pretty ridiculous for them to say the move has not caused any delays, yet no one has heard anything for months and they just updated Thursday moving ahead 13 days. Hopefully we start hearing people receiving AIP emails

Congrats to all those hearing good news!!! Unfortunately, it still seems as if all the good news is coming from Vegreville and those cases that were "left behind" . Hopefully Thursday is a good day for all of us still waiting!
