Although there are several websites and also adobe acrobat can help you but at times due slow speed of internet and unavailability of proper version of adobe acrobat you may face problem.So I used the above mentioned method which drastically reduced the size below 4 MB

1.Scan ur documents insert them as a PDF or image in MS word 2010 2.Go to options ---->Advanced---->Image size and quality------> Reduce the PPI from 220 to let say 80-----> Now save your document as PDF
