    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Yeah it's a pain in the butt to travel with for sure. Doesn't help that nobody have ever heard of it and that it's written in Arabic (and English). Instant association with Middle eastern countries. We are in the heart of South East Asia though. Cic didn't give me that much trouble with my...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

My country issues ici (international certificates of identity) that looks and acts like passports. Since we have ici's we are not considered refugees. Actually since childhood I've been travelling a lot to many countries. The big difference is I have to apply for travel visas in most countries.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Omg guys this is such a nightmare. I bet it has something to do with my country not giving citizenship as a birth right (I'm a pr in my home country hence rendering me stateless) I received another request from cic today to do fingerprints. Already booked an appointment for Monday and it is...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Yeah very frustrating. Perhaps cic website should say "countries you reside in AROUND 6 months or more since 18" Oh well looking at the bright side it only takes my country 2 weeks to issue one. And it's not too expensive :)

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Yeah my MP said I might or might not get exempted she said it really depends on how much the officer like my letter . Just frustrating I would have gotten it from the very beginning to save time but the instructions clearly said otherwise

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Guys I need your advise, Since it will take me some time to get PCC I went ahead and sent cic a letter explaining why I should be exempted while waiting for PCC. 1) provided stamped page of passport when I entered canada, proving that I'm younger than 18 yrs, 6 months old when I entered. 2)...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

From what I understand, they conduct their own search through RCMP so no need for canada. It's 6 months or longer continuously in countries other than canada since 18. In your case, because he left from 2011 to 2013 to his home country then he will need PCC from there. (And also he came here at...

I think it will be 11 months next week too. Unless a miracle happened and they suddenly work the normal pace. So 11 months, we went back to post strike timeline. Great. This must be the worst year to apply for PR. Although historically I don't know how it was like.

Hi Canuck, I understand wher you're coming from. My parents are extremely busy so I don't see this happening in another 2 weeks anyways and by that time I might *keyword might.. hear back from cic in regards to the letter I sent. (Wishful thinking) PCC takes a while to get too, so that in itself...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hi Canuck, first off congrats on becoming a PR! I'm choosing to wait because the website and letter clearly stated that PCC is needed if I've resided in countries since 18 for 6 months or more. I actually scanned my old passport pages and scanned the stamp of the date I entered canada in 2008...
