Hi.. Did you apply as inland or outland? Extending your visa is pretty easy.. Read this and follow the steps. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/extend-stay.asp You have to apply at least 30 days before your current visa expires.

That's great! And good for you! I hope they can grant me another 6 to 12 months when I need. According to my calculations, if nothing goes wrong or lost, by next April/May I should be landing in Canada as a PR. Waiting is a horrible thing! Thanks for answering me =D

Hi.. after the six months, even though you have a valid visa (in my case until 2016), you have to reapply as a visitor or should you just go to the States and come back to get another six months? what's best?
