Hi.. My spouse and I are just waiting for our marriage certificate to send out the application to CIC.
We decided to apply outland even though I'm currently in Canada on a visitor visa.
The question might be silly and kinda ridiculous but we just do not want to make any mistake.
We both live in Ontario. I'm a bit confused as to where we should send my application. Should it be to Mississauga?? I just saw that someone from London must send it to Ottawa (very different Brazil#London).
I know São Paulo will be taking care of it once it's approved (without any issues hopefully).
What are the chances that they will deny my visitor visa extension?

Thank you.

Your application should be sent to Mississauga.

I think it's not very likely that they will deny your visitor extension, as long as you apply for it on time and show sufficient funds for your stay, and explain that you want to stay with your husband while the PR application is pending. I have heard of people asking for 1 or 2 years and being granted less than the time they asked for. I don't know how common that is, but just in case, you could ask for longer. (I asked for 1 and I got it.)

That's great!
And good for you!
I hope they can grant me another 6 to 12 months when I need.
According to my calculations, if nothing goes wrong or lost, by next April/May I should be landing in Canada as a PR.
Waiting is a horrible thing!
Thanks for answering me =D
