Hi..I wonder if someone could tell me how many days you get to do your landing..once you get back your passport with visa stamped .. Does landing come as a separate request (email) or you are ready to do your landing once you get the visa?..this maybe a silly question..but please do reply :) thanks

Hi Quick question..we got our PPR recently n we have sent our passport..n CIC has received them..wanted to know what is the process after this? Do they do more verifications and do they request for any more documents ? Or do they just stamp the passport with the visa n send them back? Also...

Hi I don't think they email us that they received the passport ..we basically have to understand that from the Canada post tracker ..my tracker showed that they got the passport on 13th jan and I did not receive any email from CIC..although I am not sure if they email saying they gave stamped...

Sure! -Application sent 7th december 2013 -Application received by CIC 11th december 2013 -AOR 30th jan 2014 -Request for RCMP clearance sometime in march I think -Medical Request 24th June 2014 -RPRF request 3rd July 2014 and paid the same day -Medicals done on 11th July...results sent to CIC...

Passport sent on 9th January 2015...expected delivery to ottawa office is 13th..eagerly waiting got it to be stamped and sent back to us soon :)

Thanks :) we did our medicals back in July 2014..it took so long to finally get the PPR!!! We are sending our passports right away..hopefully will get it back in time for our travel end of this month.

Hello I have a quick question. I am waiting for my passport request and there is a chance of it coming sometime in Jan or Feb. But I am travelling out of Canada for 2 weeks starting from Jan end and will not be able to send my passport to CIC within 30 days if the request comes out of the date...

Hey my timeline- Applied December 2013 AOR February 2014 Medical request and medicals sent to CIC July 2014 AOR request and paid july 2014 "medical results have been received" update by CIC on ecas December 2014 Now waiting for PPR

Finally..4 months after doing medicals and paying rprf.. Today the ecas status got updated with the line "medicals have been received".. :) hoping for the best now..
