Does CIC notify us once they have stamped visa on the passport

Quick question..we got our PPR recently n we have sent our passport..n CIC has received them..wanted to know what is the process after this? Do they do more verifications and do they request for any more documents ? Or do they just stamp the passport with the visa n send them back?

Also would like to know if CIC send an email saying that they have stamped the visa and are mailing the passports back?

Would appreciate a reply..thanks a ton!

1. Unless it is the New Delhi office (They request passport very early in the process) CIC just stamps them and sends them back, they don't inform you.
